DESCRIPTION:The day will be spent reviewing our understanding of Central Sensitization. So many of the patients we see are in this state of ‘high alert’. \nOver the day we will review our palpation skills\, explore how our touch and intention can help someone in long term chronic pain and discover that our choice of communication can influence our patients. \nNociceptive Pain: Creating passive movements that are in a pain free range to calm nociceptors. \nPeripheral Neurogenic Pain: We will explore methods of treatment that may be helpful and autonomic changes. \nInvestigating methods of mobilising nerves\, gentle stretching\, and gentle palpation. \nYou need to be a Hendrickson Method practitioner or experienced fulltime bodyworker to attend this work workshop. \nYou will need one couch cover & one pillow. \n  \nLed By: Sue Bennett \nIncluded: Tea/Coffee\, Light Refreshments and Workbook are provided \nDress Code: Loose\, comfortable\, smart \nDuration: 1 Day \nTimes: 9am – 6pm \nCPD Hours: 8 \n
