Introduction to the Hendrickson Method

This two day workshop will introduce you to the Hendrickson Method, the science behind it.

Over the two days we will explore how you can blend some of the techniques into your everyday practice, interweaving with knowledge and techniques already gained.

Whilst Tom’s work forms the cornerstone of my practice, I use it alongside techniques I have assembled over many years of my professional development, from the oil work I was taught at the Northern Institute of Massage to finely tuned METs. It is all about seeing the patient before you and deciding what is going to be the best treatment protocol for them. This workshop is all about this.

The aims of this workshop are:

•  To gain an understanding of how the method works.
•  To start to apply wave mobilisation and soft tissue mobilisation.
• To gain knowledge of how and when to blend it with skills you already have.

We will cover:

• Cervical, thoracic and lumber spine
• Glen humeral joint
• Hip joint

There will be limited numbers on the course.

The price of this workshop includes handout, tea, coffee and lunch.
We will meet both days at 8.45am for 9am start, day closes at 5pm.
