SUMMARY:Treatment and Rehabilitation Post Pelvic Health Surgery and Childbirth
DESCRIPTION:This workshop  will be addressing  treatment and rehabilitation post operative  pelvic health surgery\, where the focus will be on those women who have had problems in childbirth\, C-sections\, hysterectomies\, and pelvic floor repairs. \nThis can often lead to trauma and shock which often remains unacknowledged. We will take a whole body approach to treatment addressing scar tissue both internally and externally. Explore coaching skills to support changes and choices these women may choose on the road to recovery. This recovery may be from 6 weeks to 20 years for some women. \nSome women could have a diagnosis of hyper mobility syndrome\, this must be considered when beginning treatment\, we have to be aware of how deep the scar tissue can reach within the visceral tissues. \nThe aim of this workshop \n\nAssessment skills.\nReviewing anatomy.\nSoft Tissue Mobilisations and Muscle Energy Techniques that are gentle\, non challenging to the nervous system.\nCoaching skills to enable choice for the people we are treating.\nMovements to enable reconnection with body.\n\n
