In this one-day workshop we will be exploring shoulder conditions and shoulder pain.
This is the third part of a three-part series of workshops examining how we can help clients find rhythm and regulation in their nervous system. Each workshop can be attended individually, but also form a comprehensive overview if all three are attended.
The workshop will be explore the visceral and fascial connections from the abdominal cavity to the shoulder, how this can add to shoulder dysfunction, rotor cuff and shoulder impingement, along with bicep tendonitis and can also restrict people from standing tall, feeling comfortable in their own skin.
Aims of the day:
- To engage patients in their posture, how movement and awareness can begin to address their shoulder pain/injury.
- Blending coaching skills to help with re framing.
- Hendrickson Method soft tissue mobilisation to address the soft tissue dysfunction.
- We will also practise abdominal massage, knowledge gained at the Northern Institute of Massage, along with the diaphragm release work of Tom Hendrickson.
Tea, coffee and lunch provided.
