The four diaphragms
May 10 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
£250Event Navigation
In this one-day workshop we will explore how the four diaphragms all need to work together to help bring back vagal function.
This workshop can be attended as a stand-alone, or as a useful follow on from the workshop in March (on polyvagal theory). This is the second part of a three-part series of workshops examining how we can help clients find rhythm and regulation in their nervous system. Each workshop can be attended individually, but also form a comprehensive overview if all three are attended.
The aim of this workshop will be centred on hands-on skills, how we can foster reconnection within the body, with the client fully engaging in the process. This will enable rhythm and regulation back to the autonomic system, creating a deeper sense of connection with themselves and the world around them.
Aims of the day:
- Exploring the four diaphragms to give us a map which will bring physical balance back into the body, within this we will explore visceral and facial links and connections.
- Discussing how we create a treatment plan which facilitate a way for people to find that regulation within their bodies.
- Exploring our use of language and coaching skills, helping enable clients to make different choices and changes in their lifestyle to support their wellbeing.
Tea, coffee and lunch are provided.
